What is the Card Fee?
$10 per year/player

* You may have a youth card but play in a adult league.

How do I get a player membership card?

TEAMS:  When a team manager/representative completes a registration form and pays a deposit, a time and date is given for their players to come in and have cards made before the league starts. Each player will need to fill out a “signed card waiver form”. Players may go on line at www.plexsports.com and download a player waiver form. If a player is under 18, that player will need to bring along the waiver form signed by a parent/guardian.  At this time, each player will pay the card fee and have a card made by the Plex staff.  Each card takes approximately one minute to make.

INDIVIDUALS:  Upon completing a registration form and paying the registration and card fee, a picture will be taken and a card will be issue “on-the-spot”.

Can I get my card the first day of my game?

While a player may choose to come in on his or her own, we strongly recommend that players do NOT wait until the day of their first game to have a card made.  There may be a long wait and that player may be delayed from beginning their game, or from playing at all. If you do not have a card issued you will not be allowed to play.

Who must have a player card?

Players (soccer, in-line hockey, flag football, volleyball) who play indoor and outdoor in ALL divisions from U8 thru all adult divisions; (individual & team sign-ups) must have a player membership card.  SPECIAL NOTE:  Those attending camps, clinics, any Wee Bear Program or the home school league are NOT required to have a player membership card.

Are coaches required to have cards?

NO

Which age divisions are considered adult?

We consider U-16 and up as adult divisions

  When does my card expire?

Player membership cards are valid for one full year from date of issue.

What happens if I lose my card?

A new card can be issued for $10 per player.

What happens if I forget to bring my card to my game?

Please treat your player membership card as you would any other game essential.  Having your player card will allow you quick and easy access to your game. Players U14 age groups and up MUST have their Card or information may be accessed with another form of photo ID.

*If a player shows photo ID, a temporary pass will be issued for play only that day.

How do these cards help with rostering?

The team representative/coach no longer needs to go through the hassle of tracking down player’s parents/guardians for signatures or filling out a signed and completed roster. Additionally, cards are going to virtually eliminate “illegal” players (i.e. over age group, or not rostered) from playing.

Where do I go with my card upon entering the building?

Players should proceed to the arena as they normally would.  Enter the area marked “players enter here” and proceed to the manager who will scan the player card and allow access to the fields.

Before game time each player will give his or her player card or temporary card to the referee to begin play. Players will then receive the card back form the referee after the game.

What benefits will a cardholder receive?

In addition to streamlining the rostering process, teams who arrive at the appointed card-making session may use this time for free open play for their players (if available).  More importantly, cardholders receive special discounts at The Plex and area restaurants and retailers.  If used to their full potential, these cards could save players hundreds of dollars!  Saving options will be listed on the back of the card and on a separate page. New options will be added throughout the year.  Feel free to ask a Plex employee for the listing or check our website (www.plexsports.com).
