About Us

Founded in 1998 by Bobby Poursanidis and Tom Lapsley, the PLEX is a 45,000 square foot superior indoor multi-sport facility located demographically in the center of Fort Wayne. Offering two state of the art indoor soccer XLTurf fields, one field converts to an inline rink with a five coat plexifloor surface, measuring 185’ x 84’. The fields have rounded corners and are enclosed by fibersin dasher boards and Plexiglass to get fans close to the action. The Plex also offer a soccer store (Summit City Soccer Shop), a concessions area and other amenities. On average, over 10,000 people enter thru the PLEX doors each week. Players of all ages participate in indoor soccer, indoor-outdoor tournaments, in-line hockey, flag football, lacrosse, indoor parties, indoor rentals and events. In addition Indoor Sports Enterprises (ISE) manages the Hefner fields that surround the PLEX indoor facility. Two stadiums and fifteen regular outdoor fields are in use during the spring, summer and fall months. During those times, ISE runs outdoor sports leagues and regional national tournaments in coordination with the local sports clubs. All fields are used daily for training and league games.
