Men’s Double Elimination Tournament

• WHEN: SUNDAY, APRIL 11, 2021

• WHERE: PLEX NORTH

• COST: $300 TEAM ENTRY FEE

PRIZE: 1st Place $1000 / 2nd Place $350

• Double Elimination (6v6)
• Each match is one 25-minute half
• Winning team continues in the winner bracket; Losing team is knocked down to the losers bracket. 
• Each team is GUARANTEED two 25-minute halves
• THE FINAL GAME WILL BE ONE 30-MINUTE GAME

• MAX: 14 PEOPLE ON ROSTER
   
• MIN: 8 PEOPLE ON ROSTER
   
• THE ROSTER THAT IS SUBMITTED BEFORE THE FIRST MATCH IS THE FINAL ROSTER FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THE TOURNAMENT; NO ADD-ONS (PERIOD). 
   
• If an unrostered individual is playing with a team, that team will forfeit the game; if they are in the winner’s bracket they will fall to the loser’s bracket, if they are already in the loser’s bracket they are out of the tournament; This must be brought to the attention of the Plex Staff DURING the match, if the match concludes this rule will not be applicable (PERIOD). 
   
• ID must be provided if NEEDED to resolve a conflict of such manner; If the identification doesn’t correspond to the roster, then the team must respect these rules that are put into place (PERIOD).  

• We will follow the “OFFICIAL RULES FOR INDOOR SOCCER AT THE PLEX NORTH” Handbook; That will be provided to each team before/during the tournament. There will be TWO REFEREES per field.
   
• MODIFIED RED CARD RULE: If a player is given a red card, that player must immediately leave the field and bench area; They will be banned from the game that follows as well. They cannot return to the bench area for the next game if they are still in the tournament. They will be eligible to play for the remainder of the tournament afterwards. If a player is given two red cards during the tournament that individual must leave the premises IMMEDIATELY after the second red and will not be allowed to return. IF A RED CARD IS GIVEN FOR A PHYSICAL FIGHT WITH ANY INDIVIDUAL AND/OR IF A FIGHT IS STARTED OUTSIDE OF THE MATCH. THOSE INDIVIDUALS WILL BE ASKED TO IMMEDIATELY LEAVE THE FACILITY AND THEY MAY NOT RETURN FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TOURNAMENT.
   
• TIE-BREAKER #1: We will go into a one-minute period of 3v3, GOLDEN GOAL. If that one-minute period concludes with no winner we will go into TIEBREAKER #2
   
• TIE-BREAKER #2: Each team will be given 3 chances on the penalty mark; If it's still tied after the 5 chances, they will go into a sudden death penalty period, until a winner is decided that way.
