The
Plex High School Outdoor 6 v 6 leagues have proven to be beneficial for
High School players, allowing them to stay active throughout the summer
and improve their skills in preparation for the high school season.
Continued play in the off-season helps high school soccer in Fort Wayne
grow even stronger.
This
year, the session will run June 4th through July 16th,
with teams playing on Wednesday or Thursday evenings. The
registration deadline is May 28th. Special rates
are available for schools who register 2 or more teams.
There
will be three boys and three girls divisions: “A” DIVISION is
competitive and geared towards varsity players. “B” DIVISION is
an intermediate level for varsity/junior varsity players. “C”
DIVISION is designated for junior varsity players. PLEASE NOTE -
The IHSAA six-player rule is NOT in effect during the summer.
This means teams are allowed to roster more than 6 players from any one
high school team if they so desire.
Throughout
the years the Plex High School Outdoor 6 v 6 Leagues have grown to over 40
teams playing. With your help we hope to increase this number,
making the leagues even stronger and more competitive to the benefit of
all the high school players.
