The Plex Sports and Event facilities (North and South) have been dedicated to providing Fort Wayne Families with the absolute best in Sports Education. With over 11 years of experience, The Plex offers an outstanding recreational experience for people of all ages and skill levels.
This year our Plex South Facility (Formerly The Dome) has evolved into one of the largest and most comprehensive indoor sports, recreation and event facilities in the Midwest. Located on Fort Wayne’s southwest side, the Plex South includes over 100,000 square feet of indoor sports and entertainment space including 40 acres of outdoor recreation space.
Again this Summer Season, The Plex South is focused on providing a variety of summer sports and activity day camps that foster the opportunity for children to grow emotionally and socially in a non-competitive, fun-filled environment. Lasting friendships and enhanced self-esteem are the by-products of a season spent at The Plex South Summer Camps.

Staff
|
The Plex South Camp Staff consists of individuals with experience in summer camping, coaching, athlete development and child development. Counselors range from adults to college age students with both the expertise and desire to work with young people in a camp setting. Coaches are of the highest quality and have demonstrated knowledge of their particular sports. |
Lunch and Snacks
|
All campers will need a pack a lunch daily. Please put all lunch items in one bag with your child’s name on the bag. We will have a refrigerator available for everyone. If your child has specific dietary needs or allegies, please make sure to note that on the Parent Packet.
Please pack a water bottle for your camper. It is important to keep hydrated during camp, so please feel free to send water, Gatorade or other juices for your child. Please pack a snack for your child to ensure campers have the energy to participate in all of the great activities we have planned. We will be taking breaks throughout the day to drink and have a snack.

Early Drop Off and Late Pick-Up
|
Early Drop Off and Late Pick-Up is available for any parent that needs it. Early Drop Off begins at 7:30am and is available for $10 per day. Late Pick-Up goes until 5:00pm and is available for $10 per day. If you would like to schedule your camper for either, please sign up by the first day of your child’s camp.
Alternate Pick Up: If your child needs to be picked up early or will miss a day of camp, arrangements must be made with the Camp Director by the first day of camp.
Sick Days: If your child is sick, please call the Camp Director to let them know your child will be missing camp that day.

Climate Controled
Camp

Summer Camps at The Plex South do not get "Rained Out"! Our Camps will be held in our Climate Controlled Facilities, with theluxury of training and having fun free of concerns about exposure to Sun and Heat. We are able to utilize our Indoor Turf Field providing a great atmosphere for these young athletes to train with our Staff of Coaches in a variety of sports! |

Behavior
|
The staff at The Plex South works proactively with your camper to instill the care and respect of all campers. However, if a camper makes a poor decision, we will respond appropriately with those same principles in mind. Most issues can be resolved with a few respectful words and we are off to have fun again.
We want every camper’s experience to be wonderful and have as much fun as possible and we will do our best to ensure that.
