Payment Policy
Ø Teams make a $200 down payment to enter league.
Ø Remainder of payment must be made before the first game.
o If you make your final payment on the date and time of your first game you must pay inside the Plex. No payments will be taken outside.
Ø If full payment is not received by first game, a $50 late charge will be added to the team fee. If payment is not received by the second game the team will not be allowed to play any games until full payment is made.
Ø The Plex will only accept one lump-sum of payments from a team. We will not take individual / multiple checks or multiple cash payments toward a team payment.
Waiver Forms and Rostering
Ø Players are not permitted to play in the league unless they are rostered on a team.
Ø In order for a player to be rostered the player must have signed a waiver form prior to playing first game (This must be done yearly). Also all players must have a current player pass membership card. NO EXCEPTIONS! Player passes are valid for one full year from date of issue. Memberships are $10 and must be renewed yearly.
All Players must also have a current Plex membership card (i.e. not expired).
Ø Team reps are responsible for making sure that their players are rostered, not the Plex. Players are rostered only if:
o Player has signed and turned in a waiver form prior to playing and before the fourth (4th) game.
o Player has a current player card
o NOTE: If a player does not have valid membership Card on the date and time of your first game you must go inside the to get on a roster and purchase a membership before you are allowed to play.
q When this is taken care of inside, management will give you “Ok to play slip” that you will hand to the referee.
Ø For your convenience, our player cards are now in a key chain card format. Players will no longer have picture IDs but are still required to take a picture for administrative use. The card will only need to be scanned when entering the facility to play. Players will no longer have to show the card to the referee. The referee will have all team rosters on the new game reports for each game.
VERY IMPORTANT!!!! We strongly recommend that players do not wait until the day of their first game to have a card made. There may be a long wait and players may be delayed from beginning their game, or from playing at all. If you do not have a card issued you will not be allowed to play. If your players do come in on the first game to get their player cards, allow up to 45 minutes before game time.
NEW MEMBERS ONLY
Once a team manager/representative completes a registration form and pays a deposit, each NEW member will need to fill out a “membership waiver form” once per year with proof of a valid membership (Card). If a player is under 18, that player will need to bring along the waiver form signed by a parent/guardian. This form will grant you the ability to be rostered on a team and play in our leagues. This must be done before the frozen roster date. All new members in a Plex league (U-8 and UP) are required to turn in a wavier form and have a Player Card or they will not be allowed to play.
CURRENT MEMBERS
Great news is that all players will only have to sign one waiver form per year. So how do I get on a team’s roster? Players who currently have a valid membership card and have signed a waiver form can now take advantage of our Speed Registration.
It is very simple…. To get placed on a roster all you need to do is provide your membership card to Plex management. They will scan your card and place you on your team or teams. No forms need to be filled out until your waiver form has expired
Ø All teams will be able to find a list of all the players who have been rostered on our website schedule page. If there is a player at needs to be added on the roster or deleted from the roster simply call the league representative to add the players name on the team roster. Writing the players name on the game sheet does not add any player on a roster.
Ø The Plex will not roster the player if no waiver form is found, if the player does not have player card, or if the player card is expired.
Ø It is advised that the team rep requests a team roster before the third game, after any player is added to the roster or if changes are made. Team Reps. can request a copy of roster any time during the session.
Ø Only players on the roster will be eligible to play during the play-offs. If there are any problems with the roster on the day of the play-offs the issue must be taken up with the team representative not with the Plex. (There will be No Exceptions).
Procedure for First game.
Ø There will be an administration table near the playing fields. At this table your players will sign and turn in waiver forms. Player cards will be checked, and your team will be informed as to how much registration fee needs to be paid before they can play the first game.
o All teams will not be allowed to play until the outdoor manager approves the roster.
o On the first game day a player do not have your card or is not on the roster, they will have to go inside the Plex before your game.
q To avoid this please get rostered on your team prior to your first game or call a Plex manager via phone to place you on the roster
Ø The referee will have one game ball. Each team is responsible for taking at least one game ball to every game.
Outdoor 6v6 Rules
All players and teams are subject to the rules of the Plex outdoor 6V6 League. Team reps can request a copy of the rules from the Plex Manager. The rules can also be found on the website www.plexsports.com
Here are some rule clarifications:
q Teams have 5:00 minutes to field a team before the game is a forfeit. The clock will be running and will not start over should the game begin. If a team shows up after the allotted time, the opposing team may agree to play the game as an official game (Time will not start over).
q There are no Timeouts
q Coed Teams must have at least 2 Females on the field. If there are not enough females to field a team then the team must play with one player less “one man down.”
q Goal keepers except Women 4 Fun cannot punt or drop kick the ball.
q Slide Tackles are allowed for all outdoor divisions except W4Fun.
q Visiting Teams must change colors if there is a conflict.
Weather Cancellations
All decisions on game cancellations will be made by 4PM on the day of the games. If the decision is made to cancel games the following procedure will be put into effect:
- A message will be placed on the Plex phone answering system
- A message will be placed on the home page of the Plex website.
- An e-mail will be sent out to players.
For game time weather delays, there will be a 15 minute wait period before the manager on duty decides whether or not to cancel games.
PLEASE NOTE: If your game is delayed due to weather, your team must not leave until the Outdoor Manager (Not the Referee) tells the team rep. that the game is officially cancelled and will be rescheduled. If your team leaves and games are able to proceed, your team will be given a forfeit and the points given to the opposing team.
*There are NO guarantees that any games will be made up due to a cancellation because of weather.
