The Plex

The Plex Youth Developmental Football League (DFL) Skills Academy is a recreational football program designed with age appropriate divisions for players of all skill ages 6-14. The program offers an introduction to the game of flag football; an environment to learn skills tailored to a player’s specific age group, and provides a platform to learn the fundamentals of the game. The DFL Skills academy also fosters player self confidence, develops high self esteem, and builds strong character in all our participants.

Breakdown of DFL Age Groups

• 6-8
• 9-11
• 12-14

(Age cutoff determined based on players age on the first game day)

Players will receive one hour of practice per week (on Thursday evenings at plex south) and one game per weekend (at Plex North). All practices and games will be under the direction of a USA Football Certified Head Coach.

The Plex DFL Requirements
It’s easy to get your child signed up for DFL, here are the requirements:

• Signed annual waiver
• Full payment at registration
• Purchase of an annual membership (good for one full year)
• Uniform top is included in the program
• A positive attitude and a love for the game of football

The Plex DFL Skills Academy: Winter 2 Session
Registration Deadline: January 4th

The Plex offers a sibling discount of 50% off to the 3rd child from the same family.

• All three children must be registered for the same session (Fall, Winter 1, etc.).
• Discount may be applied to United Cadets, Wee Bears, DFL Flag Football, Plex All-Stars.
• 50% off discount given to lowest priced program
• Must register in person to receive the discount, no discounts will be applied to online registrations.
