Arena Manager – Guest Services Team Member

The Arena Manager position is a full-time or part-time entry level to mid-career position and is available immediately. Shifts typically consist of a combination of the following hours:

  • Monday – Friday:  4pm – 12am
  • Saturday:  7am – 12am
  • Sunday: 7am – 12am

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests (in person or over the phone)
  • Answer questions pertaining to field availability, tournaments, programs, classes, camps and other events
  • Handle cash for field rentals, membership sales, camps, classes and league registrations
  • Assist with field utilization (conflicts, unauthorized use)
  • Work concessions, the bar or the Summit City Soccer Shop
  • Promote and sell programs
  • Resolve customer issues (those that do not require the attention of Senior Management)
  • Support Senior Management from time to time on special projects
  • Manage others effectively
  • Effectively demonstrate and communicate The Plex’s Mission Statement and Guiding Principles to all visitors


Required Skills:

  • Able to work with guests of all ages, ethnicities and genders
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a team player
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Possess basic computer skills (MS office) and learn new software programs quickly
  • Able to focus despite distraction or adverse circumstances
  • Spanish language skills a plus but not required
